Our Story

Founded in Berlin in 2025, the Union of Syrian Alawites in Europe was born from the need to preserve identity, protect rights, and uplift a marginalized community. Our story is one of resilience, solidarity, and the collective will to build a more just and inclusive future.

What Drives Us

We are driven by a deep commitment to human rights and the well-being of displaced and underrepresented communities. Our work is rooted in lived experiences and inspired by the courage of those who refuse to be silenced or forgotten.

Membership is open to individuals and organizations who support our values and mission. We welcome both individual members and Institutional members who have served the Union with distinction.

Honorary members are individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the Union and are granted membership without paying fees, in recognition of their service and support.

While our work focuses on the Syrian Alawite community, we support and collaborate with all marginalized and persecuted groups who share in our vision of equality and dignity for all.
